The ILÜ San 2025 medical exercise in Feldkirchen, Lower Bavaria, General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) officially handed over the Medium Protected Medical Vehicle—known in German service as mgSanKfz—to the Bundeswehr. The vehicle is based on the EAGLE 6×6 platform.
Designed for a four-person crew with the option to include an emergency doctor, the mgSanKfz offers top-tier medical care capabilities. It includes a flexible stretcher system and advanced medical equipment to support the qualified transport of one or two patients.
Both the cab and medical compartment are protected against modern battlefield threats. Powered by a 229 kW diesel engine and equipped with De Dion suspension and third-axle steering, the vehicle sets new standards in its class.
