France has selected the Pilatus PC-7 MKX as the next-generation training aircraft for its Air and Space Force. The contract includes 22 aircraft along with ground-based training solutions developed in part with French industry partners. Pilatus will also deliver simulators, computer-assisted training, and mission planning and debriefing tools. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2027, supporting basic military flight training.
