Estonia has officially taken delivery of six new High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) from US defense contractor Lockheed Martin at the company’s headquarters in Arkansas. This milestone follows a $200-million contract signed in December 2022 between the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency and Estonia’s Defence Investment Center (RKIK), marking one of Tallinn’s largest defense acquisitions.
