Embraer has secured a contract to deliver four A-29 Super Tucano aircraft to an undisclosed African customer. The versatile light attack and trainer planes will support a wide range of operations, including counterinsurgency, close air support, advanced pilot training, and ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) missions. With this acquisition, the buyer becomes the sixth African nation to operate the Super Tucano, according to the Brazilian company.
