Diehl Defence of Germany and Spanish engineering company Sener have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand their partnership across several next-generation defense technologies, including hypersonic missiles, unmanned ground vehicles, and remote carriers.
The agreement focuses on joint development efforts for the Future Combat Air System (FCAS), a European advanced air combat program driven by France, Germany, and Spain.
Both companies plan to contribute key subsystems such as guided missile and unmanned platform technologies, which are expected to be central to FCAS.
Diehl and Sener have collaborated for over 20 years, most notably on the IRIS-T missile program, where Sener has provided aerodynamic and control system components for both air-launched and ground-based versions.
