Rheinmetall has confirmed the delivery of 14 additional Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks to the Czech Republic, following the signing of a contract between Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH CEO Björn Bernhard and Lubor Koudelka, Director General of the Czech Ministry of Defence’s Armaments and Acquisition Division. The EUR 161 million agreement includes refurbished Leopard 2A4 tanks, to be delivered by the end of 2026, along with a full support package that encompasses ammunition and logistics. The tanks, mainly drawn from former Swiss stocks, will be modernized to meet Czech operational requirements.
