Czech defense firm LPP Holding has introduced the “Hornet,” a new autonomous unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed to support military logistics, including ammunition transport and casualty evacuation. Equipped with an intelligent control system, the Hornet can autonomously navigate unfamiliar environments by calculating efficient routes and avoiding obstacles. The UGV is modular and can be adapted for combat missions, medical emergencies, ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance), and CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) support to improve overall force protection.
