Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions Division has been awarded a $7.7 million IDIQ contract by Tyonek Aircraft Overhaul, LLC, part of Tyonek Services Group, Inc. and Tyonek Native Corporation. Through this contract, Curtiss-Wright will deliver a MIL-STD-1553 variant of its Fortress™ combined CVR/FDR for the U.S. Coast Guard’s MH-65E Dolphin and MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters. The agreement includes an initial one-year term with a four-year extension option.
Curtiss-Wright’s Fortress recorder, built for military rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft, is known for its scalable design that allows additional data acquisition as operational needs grow, further establishing the company as a trusted leader in modern flight recording technology.
