A group of Chinese scientists and engineers has revealed the creation of a machine gun capable of firing 450,000 rounds per minute per barrel. Developed in Taiyuan, a major industrial center in central China, the weapon can be configured with up to five barrels, potentially reaching a staggering rate of two million rounds per minute. According to the developers, this ultra-high firing speed enables the weapon to target and intercept hypersonic threats traveling at speeds over Mach 7.
