Persistent Systems has secured $29 million in contracts to supply coastal surveillance network systems to various Baltic Sea nations. The initiative involves deploying the company’s Wave Relay MANET system to enable real-time communication and data exchange, enhancing interoperability and coordinated threat response across the region. The coverage will span 2,500 miles (4,023 kilometers) of coastline and connect ships, aircraft, ground troops, coastal security forces, and mobile command centers.
