The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration has placed an order with BAE Systems for additional 155mm BONUS precision-guided rounds. These munitions are used by the Swedish Armed Forces for targeted strikes on armored targets.
Valued at nearly $62 million (SEK 600 million), the contract highlights Sweden’s ongoing investment in next-generation battlefield technologies.
BAE Systems Bofors will continue to supply the BONUS munition, which enhances artillery capabilities by locating and eliminating threats like APCs, tanks, and other enemy vehicles over extended ranges with precision.
