Saab has secured a contract worth 700 million Swedish kronor ($63 million) to supply its Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS) for the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle. The agreement was awarded by BAE Systems Hägglunds, the original manufacturer of the CV90. UTAAS was purpose-built for the CV90, reflecting the longstanding partnership between Saab and BAE Systems Hägglunds.
