AeroVironment, Inc. today revealed it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, Denmark, the site of the UAS Denmark Test Center. This agreement will facilitate joint use of the center’s broad airspace and state-of-the-art testing capabilities to support AeroVironment’s uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) demonstrations, mission training, and customer integration activities across the region.
The collaboration is set to enable combined research and development (R&D) efforts and boost the UAS Denmark Test Center’s role as a premier regional center for advanced UAS innovation, evaluation, and readiness.
Following AeroVironment’s February 2025 Framework Agreement with the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), where AV delivers advanced UAS platforms, training, and support to enhance Danish ISR capabilities, this MOU builds on that progress and reaffirms AV’s dedication to providing reliable, scalable, and combat-proven UAS systems.
By solidifying this partnership, AeroVironment expands its international collaborations and operational support capabilities, helping allied forces stay prepared in dynamic operational theaters.
