India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in collaboration with the Indian Navy, has successfully test-fired an indigenously developed underwater sea mine. Known as the Multi-Influence Ground Mine, the system is engineered to counter advanced stealth vessels and submarines by detecting acoustic, magnetic, pressure, and low-frequency electric signatures emitted by targets.
