In under a year since the contract signing, Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first of up to 82 H145Ms ordered by Germany, produced at its Donauwörth facility. The German Armed Forces, or Bundeswehr, have designated the new H145Ms as “Leichter Kampfhubschrauber” (light combat helicopter), abbreviated as LKH. These helicopters will be used for training, reconnaissance, special forces missions, and light attack roles.
