The newly unveiled P550 by AeroVironment is an electric vertical take-off and landing drone designed for the US Army’s long-range reconnaissance program. The aircraft falls into the Group 2 category, with a weight range of 21 to 55 pounds (10 to 25 kilograms) and a ceiling of 3,500 feet (1,067 meters).
