GE Aerospace has secured a $5-billion contract from the US Air Force to produce F110-GE-129 engines for foreign military sales. Originally introduced in 1992, the F110-GE-129 engine has powered various combat aircraft, including the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon, used by international partners. Under the agreement, GE will collaborate with the military to supply engines, spare parts, and related services to support the growing requirements of allied forces.
