Leonardo and Baykar have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on the development of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The Italian and Turkish defense firms plan to form a joint venture focused on designing, producing, and maintaining UAS platforms to address Europe’s growing demand—expected to hit $100 billion within the next ten years.
