Lockheed Martin and Verizon have teamed up with Nokia to incorporate commercial 5G solutions into a military telecommunications base station. The integration involved Lockheed’s 5G.MIL Hybrid Base Station hosting Nokia’s defense-grade 5G technology. Testing took place between Lockheed’s facilities in Pennsylvania and Verizon’s Innovation Center in Boston, validating seamless data transfer across platforms.
