OSI Maritime Systems has been awarded a contract to supply navigation solutions for the Portuguese Navy’s six new Viana do Castelo-class offshore patrol vessels. The deal involves providing the company’s Integrated Navigation and Tactical System (INTS) to enable “paperless” sea transits for the fleet. This technology features OSI’s flagship Electronic Chart Display and Information System 7 (ECPINS 7), developed in line with NATO standards for bathymetry, water space, and tactical symbols.
