The Estonian Defense Forces have taken delivery of the first six Caesar self-propelled howitzers. The contract for 12 Caesar MK1 units was signed in summer 2024 between Estonia’s and France’s defense procurement agencies and KNDS France. This was a joint acquisition with the French government, including an option for further purchases. While the exact cost has not been revealed, each Caesar howitzer is estimated to be priced at $4.3 million.
