Damen has handed over the fourth Yarmook-class offshore patrol vessel (OPV), the PNS Yamama, to the Pakistan Navy in Constanta, Romania. The construction contract was awarded in 2020, with assembly beginning in 2022 and the vessel launching in 2024. Once commissioned, the OPV will support maritime security operations, including anti-piracy efforts, along Pakistan’s international trade routes.
