Rheinmetall has delivered a KF41 Lynx infantry fighting vehicle to the Italian Army for evaluation ahead of an anticipated procurement. The move supports Italy’s broader plan to acquire new tracked systems, announced in early 2024, with a projected investment of up to €5.2 billion ($5.3 billion). According to Defense News, the test vehicle was sent to the Montelibretti center for assessment by the military and its local partner, Leonardo.
