The US government has approved a potential $78.5 million sale of MK 54 MOD 0 lightweight torpedoes to Saudi Arabia. The request includes 20 ready-to-launch torpedoes, along with spare parts, MK 54 recoverable exercise variants, handling equipment, and containers. The agreement also covers logistics and program support, which may involve up to two US government or RTX contractor representatives visiting Saudi Arabia.
