Ireland has finalized a deal to purchase four Airbus H145 helicopters to replace the EC135 models currently in service with the Irish Air Corps. As reported by The Irish Times, the €91.7 million ($95.8 million) contract is set to deliver the new helicopters by 2027, coinciding with the retirement of the remaining two EC135s. The H145s will be utilized by the Irish national police and security air support agency for pilot training, preparing personnel for operating larger tactical aircraft.
