A $277 million contract has been awarded to Textron Aviation to produce the next-generation T-54A trainer jets for the US military. The contract covers the delivery of 26 aircraft to the US Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard across procurement lots 2 and 3. Additionally, the deal includes engine spare parts and associated support gear. Production will take place in Kansas and Texas, with completion slated for September 2026.
