Saab has signed a framework deal with French aircraft maintenance and modification provider Sabena technics to support aircraft modification efforts for Saab’s GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft.
The agreement aims to form the basis for a long-term partnership between the companies, focusing on complex modifications and associated services for the GlobalEye system.
GlobalEye, Saab’s advanced multi-domain AEW&C solution, utilizes Bombardier’s Global 6000/6500 business jet. Transforming these aircraft into GlobalEye platforms involves intricate technical work requiring highly trained and dedicated specialists.
