The Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) of Singapore has signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopters to explore crewed-uncrewed teaming between the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) H225M Medium Lift helicopter and Airbus’ Flexrotor UAS. The partnership’s goal is to assess how crewed-uncrewed collaboration can improve situational awareness and mission outcomes through a flight demonstration.
Airbus will integrate its new HTeaming system on the RSAF’s H225M, granting the crew full control over the Flexrotor. The operational trial will showcase the efficiency and added value of Airbus’ crewed-uncrewed teaming approach.
HTeaming, recently unveiled by Airbus, is a modular system featuring a modem, four antennas, a tablet, and software.
