India has finalized a license deal with BEML to build logistical support platforms for the Arjun tank fleet.
The agreement includes production of Unit Maintenance and Repair Vehicles, as well as heavy-duty 70-ton tank transport trailers featuring upgraded hydraulic systems.
These platforms will serve the Armoured Corps of the Indian Army, based in Maharashtra, and will handle frontline repair tasks for Arjun’s electrical and mechanical systems.
