The Swedish military has procured 100 4×4 medical vehicles as part of a broader vehicle modernization framework initiated in 2023.
Iveco Defence Vehicles will deliver the batch, which is the second phase of a program aiming for 3,000 MUV-based vehicles across a dozen configurations.
The first group included 200 logistics trucks, 100 personnel transports, and 100 medical units.
Completion is expected by 2027, with the option to extend the project another five years.
Support packages accompanying the delivery will ensure operational longevity for the fleet.
