Thales has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Tawazun Council to manufacture its Ground Master air surveillance radars in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Announced during the “Make it in the Emirates 2025” forum, the partnership aligns with the UAE’s efforts to expand local defense manufacturing, bolster national security, and enhance defense exports.
A dedicated facility will be established to assemble, test, and certify advanced air surveillance radar systems, with full operations anticipated by 2027.
