Nammo has secured a 1.8-billion Swedish kroner ($186 million) contract with the Swedish government to provide small-caliber ammunition. The deal falls under a new 10-year framework agreement, marking the largest ammunition contract awarded to Nammo by Sweden to date. Deliveries are scheduled between 2026 and 2028, aimed at ensuring a reliable domestic supply amid global production constraints. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson recently visited Nammo’s Karlsborg facility to review plans for increasing manufacturing capacity.
