Sri Lanka is expanding its air force fleet with additional American Bell 206 helicopters and a Pakistani-supplied Chengdu J-7 aircraft. The acquisition includes eight TH-57 Sea Ranger variants of the Bell 206 from the U.S. and one FT-7 trainer version of the Chinese-made J-7 fighter from Pakistan.
